Lovejoy is Ineffective and Self-Serving

Ian Lovejoy is a self-serving politician. He managed businesses that hurt seniors by selling their private information and ripping them off. And in office, Lovejoy voted to raise his own pay twice 1, while being rated one of the least effective Delegates in Richmond.

 

Ian Lovejoy failed to pass a single meaningful bill in his two years as a delegate:

  • 2025:  Lovejoy introduced zero bills that passed. 2
  • 2024: The only piece of legislation that he introduced and passed changed the due dates for certain environmental reports. 3

Lovejoy supports an abortion ban and restrictions on contraception

  • On the Manassas City Council, Lovejoy was the deciding vote to use zoning regulations to stop new abortion clinics in the city. 1 Manassas’s last abortion clinic closed  – and now, Prince William County women are forced to drive to Falls Church or Alexandria for care. 2
  • Lovejoy voted to allow extradition of women, doctors, and healthcare workers who helped women seek abortions in Virginia for prosecution out of state. 3

Lovejoy Weakens Public Education
